     After reading Book 20, one line that caught my attention was when Zeus stated "For if we leave Achilles alone to fight with the Trojans they will not even for a little hold off swift-footed Peleion . For even before now they would tremble whenever they saw him , and now , when his heart is grieved and angered for his companion's death , I fear against destiny he may storm storm their fortress." Here, I see that there is a bit of fate and free will. But this statement brings up a lot of questions. Does Zeus fear that Achilles might act against his own destiny ? Is there something special about Achilles?
